A group of engineers from Japan wanted to develop a new overlocker : a small " baby " version of a great industrial overlocker . A new brand was born : Babylock . About 45 years ago an American company was interested in the overlocker idea and the machine was introduced to the U.S. market . During all these years the family business continued to renew the machines. There were important innovations launched as the " Jet -Air Threading ™". Also for other special features patent was pending : "ExtraordinAir ™" and smart " IQ Technology ™ " .
