Make sure you always have an extra spare set of lock blades at home.
Help my Lock machine doesn’t cut the fabric properly anymore:
If the fabric is not properly cut by the lock machine,
or the machine pulls the fabric into the machine,
then the knives are probably bone or damaged.
After using often the serger machine, the knives become blunt.
Especially when you use thick and special fabrics.
Often it happens when you accidentally sew on a pin,
even then the machine will no longer cut properly.
Each serger has an upper and lower knife.
Regularly check that the blades are sharp by passing your nail along the knife.
You will feel an unevenness immediately.
To have perfect sewing results, replace regularly new blades in your lock machine.
When changing the blades, make sure that the bottom knife stays just below the needle plate.
The upper blade should fall over the lower blade at the deepest point.
Can I change the knives by myself?
You can easily fix the new lock knives in your machine.
The video below shows you how this works.
Make sure that the lower blade is just slightly below the stitch plate,
and that the upper Blade, falls over the lower blade at the deepest position.

Better for the environment:
All our new machines and mannequins are delivered neatly in the box from the manufacturer, which means that it has not been repacked in a large Matri outer box. This saves a lot of packaging material and therefore also the environment.
The machines are packed tightly with a lot of polystyrene foam around the machine, if there is damage to the outside of the cardboard box, the machine will certainly not be damaged.
We only deliver within Europe!
